Each handle is made from a cylindrical piece of solid brass finished in a fine knurled texture.
The texture is made by applying many fine close scores to the surface of the metal which gives the brass an almost fuzzy texture. This finish is enhanced by the dark oiled bronze tone of the metal.
The knurled texture has a functional use as well as being beautiful. The texture enhances grip and makes these handles easy and practical to use.
